ONE FOR ALL

The iconic GO boards kickstarted the modern windsurfing era by introducing the widestyle concept. 22 years later, the GO boards continue to help thousands of progressing and advanced windsurfers through their first steps and their first carve jibes. GO WINDSURFER

The GO Windsurfer 165, 175 and 195are our recommendations as a windsurfer’s first board with more glide in non-planing conditions. Instead of a centre fin box, the GO Windsurfer features a fully retractable daggerboard that makes it easier to stay upwind and learn to windsurf, while being more versatile from light to windy and planing conditions.

Equipped with carry handles and a full EVA Deck it is the ideal entry-level and progressive board for everyone.

FROM BEGINNER TO HERO

The compact freeride shape for kids and adults to share. As a kid’s board, the compact outline makes it easy to manoeuvre and handle. The centre fin on the GO 122, 133, 144 and 155 and the retractable daggerboard on the GO Windsurfer 165, 175, 195 helps stay upwind and track in a straight line. For adults, remove the centre fin or retract the daggerboard, adjust the straps to their performance positions and unlock the maximum performance mode of the board.

GLIDING PERFORMANCE

The GO 122, 133, 144 & 155 feature a centre fin (available separately) that helps you keep upwind and provides extra stability as you learn to windsurf. Remove the centre fin, fit the plugin, and have a full performance freeride board. Our recommended fin is the Drake Shallow 41.

The GO Windsurfer 165, 175 & 195 use our Clipperbox daggerboard system that clicks in and out and can be removed without tools by positioning the daggerboard at 45 degrees and pulling up. The water-sealing rubber lips are ultra-durable and can also be replaced without tools. Learning to windsurf with a daggerboard or centre fin makes it easier to stay upwind while providing additional roll stability.

EXTENDED FLAT

The GO 122, 133, 144, 155: A 15 cm extended flat section in the rockerline. This gives a longer, more efficient planing surface that helps get you planing, keep planing and accelerate more with every gust.

The GO Windsurfer 165, 175, 195: Using a highly efficient and low rockerline, with an even volume distribution, allows the GO Windsurfer to glide smoothly and fast in light winds, with lots of longitudinal traction. It also lets the board accelerate onto the plane smoothly.

CONTROL

GO 122, 133, 144, 155: Lower center of gravity and drive. More grip. More Power. More Control. More Fun.

CARRY HANDLES

The GO Windsurfer 165, 175 & 195 feature a nose carry handle, making them easy to carry for kids.

They also feature a center carry handle for easy carrying under arm by an adult.

SOFT DECK

The deck has a large soft EVA finish, comfortable for your feet, knees and elbows. You get the grip without cuts or rashes. The EVA deck is raised above the edges of the board to allow the water to flow freely around the board and jibe smoothly without drag.

YULEX STRAPS

The Drake footstraps are made with FSC-certified, sustainably-sourced and plant-based Yulex foam. With 85% natural rubber content, CO² emitted during the manufacturing process is reduced by 80%. The remaining 15% of synthetic neoprene is kept to improve UV resistance.

Crisp and Sharp

The GO 2022 are available exclusively in the new Starlite construction, a significant step up from the standard construction typically used in this price category: lighter weight, stiffer, tougher against impacts and with a crisper, more high-performance feel on the water. It uses a combination of 0.6mm Australian pine wood and glass fibres to combine premium technology with a quality finish in a value package.

KEY FEATURES

THE CLASSIC

The Classic describes the rig package that uses a two-piece mast and a two-piece boom.

1.2, 2.0, 3.0: The 1.2 and 2.0 features a mini-mast that replicates the right stiffness and flex of a larger sail for these tiny sizes. Drastically lighter and perfectly adapted to kids.

4.5, 5.5, 6.5: improved sail design with a longer second batten, stiffer boom clamp and a more durable universal joint.

THE COMPACT

4.5, 5.5, 6.5: The compact version of the sail package. With its four-piece mast and three-piece boom, everything collapses into a small bag that’s convenient to carry and store. Improved sail design with a longer second batten, stiffer boom clamp and a more durable universal joint.

UPGRADED BOOM HEAD

The boom head clamp has been redesigned for a better fit around the mast, thus requiring less pressure to grip.

The lever is also slightly longer, stiffer and more ergonomic to allow riders of all ages and sizes to close the boom head easily.

BOOM CLIP WITH DOUBLE PINS

The boom clips with double pins are secure and durable. The boom end uses a loop-n-go system. Loop the rope through the sail and onto the hook. Pull the end and lock it in. Just like on the extension, correct settings for light wind and high wind conditions are marked on the boom adjustment holes to make rigging easy.

RDM MAST

The Classic uses a two-piece reduced diameter 20% carbon mast and the Compact uses a four-piece reduce diameter carbon mast.

The RDM masts are more reliable and make the sails feel smooth and light on the water.

R+SDM EXTENSION

With the adapter collar, you get an SDM extension. Remove the adapter collar and you have an RDM extension: 2 in 1. The top adapter collar is a screw cap so it won’t get lost. This external lever clicks on in a snap: great for those who want to be able to release the rig from the mast foot and board without getting sore thumbs.

The R+SDM aluminium extension is included for the Compact and Classic 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5 m2.

HOOK PULLEY

The downhaul 3-roller hook pulley makes down hauling hassle-free. Downhaul line comes connected to the hook pulley for even faster and simple rigging. Just hook it to the grommet and downhaul all the way.

MECHANICAL BASE

The mechanical universal joint is great for inflatable boards as it puts less stress than a conventional rubber joint on the board when the sail is lying flat in the water.

BAGS

The SUP WINDSURFING Sails come with a bag made of a RPET 450D outer fabric layer made from recycled plastic bottles, in partnership with Waste2Wear. The bottles are chopped into flakes, washed, melted and extruded into yarns and then spun into a fabric. Between 30 to 50 bottles are used per bag. Bottles that now re-enter the market again, without risk of polluting the environment. Ripstop weaving technology improves wear and tear resistance.

The SUP WINDSURFING Compact bag is just 120 cm long
